Our local library
The toddlers visited the local library! We walked from the nursery to the Cambridge central library. On the way we counted some buses and spoke about different things we could see around us. As soon as we arrived at the library the children walked straight to the book shelves and starting browsing the books. They explored the library for a while and some gained enough confidence to initiate conversations with other children that were present at the library. #promotingloveofreading #literacy #boostingselfconfidence
