Museum of Zoology: Exploring animal life exhibition
Our outgoing Preschoolers/School leavers paid a visit to the University Museum of Zoology where they explored the beautiful paintings, sculptures and drawings displayed amongst specimens of the animals that inspired them. The children seemed intrigued by some of the unusual animals ranging from the rare types of chameleons and lizards as well as amazing species that can only be found in very unique locations around the world. We discussed the differences in animals that looked similar yet widely different in terms of their behaviour, what they ate and what environments they thrived in. The children seemed to be well informed about a wide range of animals which was very impressive! The children and staff had an amazing time and definitely leant a lot from this great exhibition. We wish all our children starting school in September 2019 all the best in their next adventure and we will truly miss their unique characters and the deep and thoughtful conversations they inspire everyday in the nursery! #zoology #futurezoologists #preschololers#schoolleavers
