Chloe – Nursery Manager
I have worked in nurseries for over 11 years and have built my knowledge and experience
through starting out as a practitioner in the baby room. I have since moved my way up to
manager where I have managed several settings. I am family orientated and I am a proud
aunty to my lovely little niece. I am very passionate about providing a safe and inviting
environment for all children, staff and visitors. I have always wanted to further my
education and learning about children, I currently have several level 5 qualifications in
early years and management. I am taking the next step which is to gain a full BA Degree,
which I start later on this year. I mostly enjoy watching the children develop their
characters and skills as they transition through the nursery knowing that we have worked
alongside parents in partnership to support the children to best of our ability, is just one
of the reasons I enjoy working in the childcare sector.
Karen – Deputy Manager
Since having my own children I have gained an interest in how children learn and develop. I have therefore built my career on putting my interests into practice. I have worked in a preschool, within a reception class supporting children and children with special educational needs. I wanted to combine my management experience and my knowledge of working with children, which lead me to become the deputy manager at Grange Road. I thoroughly enjoy working alongside such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team.

I love working with babies and watching them grow, my role in nurturing them and teaching them how to learn new things is a fun process which I thoroughly enjoy. The bonds that you gain with the children and their families is what makes the job so amazing.
